There are things to consider when choosing between a DJ or a live band. A live band has music coming from multiple sources, so it’s difficult to capture the audio without capturing the room noise/sound. Whereas a DJ has one source, so we can come off the soundboard for a pristine recording. The soundboard on a live band is usually just the mics, so any ambien audio isn’t recorded. So basically, a live band sounds more like a live band… whereas a DJ sounds more pristine without the background noise. I personally enjoy both live band & DJ! Live bands are fun, and so are DJ’s. We have worked with several, but my personal favorites are: Infinity Show Band , Band X, Fonix Entertainment , and Peavy Entertainment.
