The difference between basic menus & advanced motion menus.

Have you ever purchased a dvd only to get it home, pop it in the player and be greeted with a still, basic menu with no motion or feeling? Isn’t it a disappointment when the extras are just the theatrical trailer? Maybe it has background music with a simple “play” button…. How bland. Sure, the video itself is the most important part, but your very first impression is when you put the disc in (well, after seeing the external packaging). Imagine calling your family and friends over for a viewing party and everyone is gathered around the big screen and …. a still image with “Play” appears. When you get that deluxe box set limited edition BluRay or DVD of your favorite movie or show you certainly aren’t greeted to a still menu, and there usually are extras like behind the scenes, cut scenes, commentary, blooper reel… all the fun stuff besides the movie or main program. Well, isn’t your wedding a special event? Isn’t it a limited edition worthy of special attention?
